Haloze
From a natural as well as social and economic perspective, Haloze is an incredibly diverse landscape in the North East of Slovenia. The land of the low tertiary hills measures 241 km2
Kum
The project sub-area of Kum comprises the central part of the Sava Hills, where the area of hills between the Sava River and the Sopota River ascends to the 1,220 metres high Kum Mountain with its distinct peak.
Pohorje
The species-rich Nardus grasslands (the so-called ‘volkovja’) are one of the most common habitat types in the EU. They can be found in 24 member states and in 6 different bioregions.
